FADY WANNA, md
Fady S. Wanna, MD, MBA, FACS, is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with more than nearly three decades of specialized experience in adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. He brings a unique combination of advanced surgical expertise and executive healthcare leadership to New Paradigm in Cardio Thoracic Surgery.
In addition to his surgical career, Dr. Wanna has practiced at hospitals in Georgia and Kentucky and has held senior executive leadership roles within large healthcare systems. Dr Wanna served as a chief medical and clinical officer at Atrium Healthcare in a tertiary level I trauma hospital in Georgia.
Dr. Wanna earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco–Oakland, followed by a cardiothoracic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta. He is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery in both cardiac and thoracic surgery. In May 2017, he completed an Executive MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association.
