TRENT HOWARD, DO
Dr. Howard was born and raised on a tobacco and cattle farm in Kentucky. He worked for 10 years as a firefighter/paramedic before returning and finishing his degree in agricultural economics at the university of Kentucky. He was a member of the inaugural class of DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. He did his surgical training in Des Moines, IA and cardiothoracic fellowship at the University of Iowa. He comes to Dothan after working as a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon in Des Moines and Birmingham, AL. He has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
He is also a devoted member of Dothan First Church. His faith in Jesus comes first, guiding his commitment to family, integrity, hard work, and service in both his personal life and his career. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and continues to own and operate a beef cattle operation.
